Air Force’s Jaguar Fighter Plane Crashes In UP, Pilots Eject Safely
A Jaguar fighter jet of the Indian Air Force crashed today in Kushinagar, about 322 kilometres from Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh.
No causality has been reported. Both the pilots were able to eject safely.
The Jaguar aircraft was on a routine mission and had taken off from the Gorakhpur air force base.
The police and officials from the administration have rushed to the accident site.
“Today (Monday) morning, a Jaguar aircraft while on a routine mission from Gorakhpur, crashed. Pilot ejected safely. A court of Inquiry has been ordered to investigate the accident,” IAF said in a statement, according to ANI.
A court of inquiry has been ordered to find out the reason for the crash.
